The facility, spanning 20,000 square meters, is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including automated storage and retrieval systems and advanced temperature-controlled zones, catering to diverse industries such as pharmaceuticals, perishables, and e-commerce.
The new hub integrates dnata’s commitment to innovation, efficiency, and sustainability. It features solar panels and energy-efficient designs, reinforcing the company’s environmental objectives. Strategically located near Al Maktoum International Airport, the facility enhances the company’s operational capabilities, facilitating seamless import, export, and transit cargo handling. This expansion comes as part of dnata’s broader efforts to bolster the UAE’s position as a global logistics hub. The company’s collaboration with Dubai South aims to enhance efficiency and connectivity within the logistics corridor, integrating its systems with Dubai South’s smart gate mechanisms to streamline cargo processing. The partnership is expected to provide faster turnaround times, reduced costs, and increased transparency for stakeholders.
