RIYADH: Kuwait’s interior ministry foiled a plan by a “terrorist” cell that intended to target Shiite places of worship, Kuwait News Agency said on Thursday.
Security personnel were able to follow up on the cell, monitor its movements, and arrest three members belonging to a terrorist organization, KUNA said.
The Arab defendants were referred to the Public Prosecution so that legal measures could be taken against them.
