Special Envoy of Chinese Government on Middle East calls for strengthening Sino-Arab Dialogue

ABU DHABI, 24th October, 2023 (WAM) — Special Envoy of the Chinese Government on the Middle East Issue Zhai Jun has underlined the importance of promoting communication between Arab and Chinese civilizations

Addressing a symposium on the Arab-Chinese Relations and Dialogue between Arab and Chinese Civilizations, which opened today in Abu Dhabi under the title “Dialogue of Civilizations for Sustainable Development”, Zhai Jun pointed to the depth of Sino-Arab relations and the importance of continuing to enhance cooperation between the two sides in various fields.

Zhai Jun called for protecting cultural respect and autonomy and rejecting any attempts to impose cultural superiority.

He pointed to the Global Civilisation Initiative proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping, as a positive approach to dealing with civilisational differences and promoting global peace.
